System4 Ever Green Program
“Green Cleaning” is an environmentally safe and effective way to service customers. “Green Cleaning” is a combination of environmentally safe chemicals, cleaning techniques and the proper use of equipment to deliver a “Green Clean” that customers will appreciate.
System4 has introduced the “System4 Ever Green Program” to provide cleaning services to customers that reduce chemical usage, energy and waste, which results in better indoor air quality. The following techniques and procedures have been implemented to help protect
the environment.
Chemicals
System4 utilizes 3M’s environmentally preferred chemicals. 3M is committed to providing the best chemicals and distribution system in the market. All of these chemicals are Green Seal certified, which means they have passed rigorous tests to earn certification from Green Seal. We also utilize the 3M Twist n’ Fill distribution system that dilutes chemicals accurately and eliminates water and chemical waste.
Techniques and Procedures
System4 has implemented the exclusive use of Rubbermaid color-coded microfiber cleaning cloths, mops and dusters. Microfiber technology considerably reduces the use of the amount of chemical necessary to clean and increases productivity. This increase in productivity lessens the amount of time spent in the facility and therefore reduces energy costs. Microfiber also traps the dirt and dust, rather than moving it around like standard feather dusters and cotton cloths. The result is a considerable reduction of airborne particulates that add to poor indoor air quality. We also utilize additional techniques that reduce cleaning’s environmental impact, such as on board mopping systems, chemical free floor care and several others all that use less water and chemicals to clean.
Equipment
System4 has partnered with equipment companies that can provide high filtration and energy efficient vacuums that essentially eliminate the release of airborne particulates to improve indoor air quality.
Technology
System4’s SMARTS program is our management software that allows the easy transfer of information without the need to use paper, and has a considerable time-management savings, as well.
